London Calling

Hello all, a quick update of Monday's activities...its been crazy busy and this has been the only chance of updating all week.

We arrived in England through Gatwick airport, the flight was uneventful and very comfortable. The entry into the country was easy-peasy, biometrics confirmed a stamp and we're through. The adventure begins.

We get our bags and find our way to the hotel. We have decided to stay close to the airport to avoid lugging 150 kg of bags around London. We get settled into the room and catch up on some needed sleep. We decide to go into town ( about a 20 min walk ) for dinner and a look around Horley. We have a little Indian (I'm talking about the food :-) )and walk around town, find out where the train station is and stop at a pub for a drink and get online, check email etc.

pretty much uneventful, but London awaits, more to come soon. Julie's getting cranky, so I need to go.
